Come see me talk about the podcast, and about nothing

Hi everyone,
Just to let you know I'll be giving a public lecture at King's on Oct 25, at 6:30, in the Safra Lecture Theatre on the Strand Campus.
It's called "Filling the Gaps: a Brief History of Nothing," and in it I'll be talking about the podcast project and pursuing one philosophical topic (the problem of void) through history.

Thanks very much! I am indeed planning something special for episode 50, but I think I will let it be a surprise. Anyway I am pretty much in it for the long term; thanks for sticking with it!

Hello Peter, I noticed that
Hello Peter,
I noticed that you are almost up to 50 podcasts; I think you should have some sort of celebration. I started listening to your podcasts last winter, and I quickly caught up. Now I look forward to them every week. I love long term projects, such as the one you have embarked on. I am currently reading ‘Finnegans Wake’ on line at a site called FWEET. Each line of the book is annotated and I have been reading one or two pages a week. I am now on page 441. You can see that I have been at it for a while. I hope you continue with your project. I wish I could read all the books you suggest but I am committed to reading books by and about Charles Dickens for a class in the winter. I taught a class last spring on creating your won philosophy of life and your thoughts on Plato and the Pre-Socratics helped me a great deal.
