In Our Time: Maimonides
Just to note that today I appeared on "In Our Time", the BBC Radio 4 program hosted by Melvyn Bragg, to talk about the great medieval Jewish philosopher and jurist Maimonides:

you sound the same. i find that slightly disconcerting. imho, lord melv should have let you in a bit more, though.
so - can you read maimonides in the original (arabic and hebrew)? and greek? (your opportunity to show off.)

Well, I read Greek and Arabic
Well, I read Greek and Arabic but not Hebrew, sadly. Maimonides' "Guide" and indeed most of his works were written in a dialect of Arabic but in Hebrew letters ("Judeo-Arabic").
