Some acknowledgements
Before I get going with proper blog posts, I'd like to thank numerous people for their help with this project. Firstly Julian Rimmer, for offering to design this website, for doing such a good job with it, and for helping me come to grips with it!
Secondly, my production assistant Rory O'Connell -- it's thanks to him that the podcast sounds as good as it does and that you don't hear me frequently stumbling over my words (he edits the stumbles out).
Also I'd like to thank Andreas Lammer for his invaluable technical advice to me and Rory. I also got helpful advice on content from Glenn Adamson and Mike Pelsmajer.
I've received a lot of support from the multimedia team at King's: Ian Rossenrode, Ian Calder and Brett Trewern have been wonderfully helpful in setting up the direct feed for the podcast, where you can subscribe to it, and also the iKing's page where you can listen in-screen.
Stefan Hagel (check out his website) graciously allowed me to use the music that begins and ends each episode. This is the sound of a reconstructed Greek aulos (double flute) played by Stefan himself!
Penultimately, I'd like to thank the Leverhulme Trust and King's College London for their financial support for the podcast.
And finally, thanks to you the listener for listening, for the feedback some of you have already sent in, and for your comments here in the future!
